What's in season in March

March is the start of the hungry gap, when winter crops finish and spring ones haven't arrived. The first rhubarb appears, alongside the last leeks, kale, parsnips and cabbages, and rosemary is picked all year.

Grower tip: Rhubarb can't be sold each or by the bunch, so offer it as pay what you think or a swap, or as a big box over 5 kg at a set price.
